White colour is always not a wrong choice, but using some other colours might make it more interesting. I believe light blue will be the most appropriate because Mr. Forgetfulness is in blue.The text is in light colour too so that the viewers have to spend some effort in order to read. It is just like, spending effort to recall a thing.

I think using soft color works to communicate the idea... you don't just read... you REALLY READ it. But they are maybe too soft and girly???
